Training Requirements
The following training is essential for the NRVP volunteer, and every attempt shall be made to complete the training within 60 days of the hire date.
- CDFW Employee Orientation
- Natural Resource Volunteer Academy
- Drivers Training and Observation
- Defensive Driver's Training
- Hunter Safety
- First Aid and CPR
In addition, volunteers are eligible to take training courses offered by CDFW, on a space-available basis.
