Join artist and science illustrator Jane Kim as she brings the elusive Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep to the Owens Valley. Jane is collaborating with California Department of Fish and Wildlife on this exciting project. The Migrating Mural, portraits of Sierra bighorn, can be viewed along Highway 395. Two murals have been completed so far. The first completed mural, located in Independence, California, is located on the wall of the Mt. Williamson motel at 515 South Edwards (on the highway at the south side of town on the west side of the street. The second completed mural is located at the Bishop Gun Club on the east side of the highway 3 miles north of town. Both murals have an informational plaque describing the contents of the mural in more detail. Try to stop in for a visit. See links below for more information.
