Wild Turkey Hunting Clinic

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Advanced Hunter Education Program, the Pacific Coast Hunter Education Association and The Friends of Cañada de los Osos Ecological Reserve are jointly sponsoring we are offering a Wild Turkey hunting clinic.  Topics will include:  hunting turkeys both in the winter and fall. Topics covered are hunting regulations, huntable lands, proper types of firearms and ammunition used for turkey hunting, proper clothing, habits and habitats of wild turkey. Other topics include turkey hunting safety, hunter responsibilities and ethics, game care and cooking. All skill levels are welcome to attend.

Space is limited. Cost: $45. 16 years of age and younger are free but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Limited to 45 people, so please register early.
