Director’s Internal Climate Change Task Force
The Director’s Climate Change Task Force was created to provide leadership on taking action to reduce or mitigate the production of greenhouse gases by CDFW, and to prepare for the current and future impacts of climate change on California’s fish, wildlife, and habitats through policy development. The task force is responsible for reviewing CDFW regulations, policies, and practices to examine how we can change the ways business is conducted to reduce our carbon footprint and better respond to the effects of climate change on fish and wildlife. This group will work to ensure that proposed actions can be funded and implemented, and will track and monitor progress on efforts to address climate change.
